Just In: Robot (Hindi 2010)

The Gist: A new superhero movie from Bollywood.

My Say: I like this. It reminds me of the Filipino superhero movies of Vic Sotto but with more silly dancing and outrageous wigs. I'd watch this as soon as figure out where I could get the English subtitles for this one.

Coming Soon: Let Me In

The Gist: How do you make Twilight more scary?

My Say: I'm really excited to watch this film this coming Halloween, hopefully with a date. I just hope the Hit Girl wouldn't scare me too much with her foul mouth.

Just In: Patrik : Age 1.5

The Gist: A gay couple decide to take their relationship to the next level by adopting a child. Due to a typographical error, they ended up with a 15-year old boy who hates fruity people.

My Say: I'm certain that I'm going to watch this since I can't turn down any heartwarming movie even if it's Swedish. The premise looks really interesting and has the makings of a hit tv sitcom. I also find the idea of two grown men under the mercy of a tiny kid hilarious. It reminds me of Home Alone.

Blast from the past: Sherlock Holmes

The Gist: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective faces the ultimate challenge when the world's most evil criminals attack London.

My Say: By saying most evil criminals I actually meant enormous monsters. They got Sherlock Holmes going against  krakens, dragons, dinosaurs and what-nots. Luckily, he's got Iron Man on his side. Watch this at your own risk. Too much awesomeness is dangerous to your health.

Coming Soon: Burlesque

The Gist: It's like Moulin Rouge, only more risque. It's Burlesque.

My Say: It's the long awaited collaboration of Christina Aguilera and Cher. Two pop star Divas of two different generations. If watching them do a concert together is already awesome, placing them in a single film would surely bring the house down.

Coming Soon: Unstoppable

The Gist: One of those movies which proves that you can make a disaster movie about anything. This time, it's a rampaging train!!!!

My Say: If you're looking for the sequel of the blockbuster Unbreakable, look somewhere else. I don't buy a roaring deathmachine that travels in circles and goes choo choo. Adding small children passengers doesn't help either.

Coming Soon: Catfish

The Gist: Blair Witch Project  +  Facebook = Catfish

My Say: The movie trailer is good enough to have me excited for this movie. If you're lucky enough to hook with someone from Facebook, this would be the perfect date movie your eyeball.
